Scott Helmstedter Chief Creative officer talks about his movie Turtle The Incredible Journey

A little loggerhead turtle which follows in the path of her ancestors on one of the most extraordinary journeys in the natural world. Born on a beach in Florida, she rides the Gulf Stream all the way to the frozen north and ultimately swims around the entire North Atlantic to Africa and back to the beach where she was born. Along the way she faces many hazards, she loses her brothers and sisters in the Sargasso Sea.

“When we were making  films with Sea World  we weren’ t able to step it up because there is  a connection between animals and the parks so the  main message is the conservation and protection toward  these turtles. So one of our main goals is the conservation of sea turtles, so is very clear that a journey like this are part of their lives (this includes many  aquatic animals) so we can understand how these animals have to survive. Sea World Pictures, is a Universal Company that is working on these stories for other all audiences, one of their main messages is to keep our animals out of danger and safe.”
