Murray's Defense Testifies
Taking the stand was anesthesiology expert Dr. Paul White. Dr. White states that Dr. Murrray was not responsible for Jackson’s death. “I was somewhat perplexed at how a determination has been made that Dr. Murray was infusing propofol,” White said. “It wasn’t obvious to me, I thought there were questions.”
A drug-addiction specialist also testified and stated that Jackson was “probably addicted” to a powerful painkiller given him during frequent visits to a Beverly Hills dermatologist in the three months before his death.
The defense used Jackson’s medical records from his dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein’s office to try to prove his growing dependency on medications.
Closing arguments to the trial will be coming in next week.
