Paul Greengrass, accepted the challenge of the adaptation of Stephen King's 'The Stand'

Gerald Henderson , director of Captain Phillips, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum and Green Zone could be the final person slotted to take on the project. King’s novel The Stand is the story of a post-apocalyptic world where 99 percent of the population has been wiped out from a superflu pandemic. In 1994 the story was made into a TV mini-series that starred Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald and Gary Sinise. The series only lasted one season. Fun fact: Stephen King made an appearance in the mini-series, as did Kareem Abdul-Jabba.
British actor Lewis Collins has died at the age of 67
The icon of British television died after a five-year battle with cancer. Collins was born in Liverpool, England in 1946 and earned his living as drummer in local bands and as a hairdresser before becoming an actor.
George Harrison was a good brother until his last days
Family members often worry more about taking care of acquaintances and friends as they do their own flesh and blood. However this is not the case for Louise Harrison, 82, still works to support herself. She currently manages a Beatles tribute band called the “Liverpool Legends,” who frequently perform at the Andy Williams Moon River Theatre in Branson, Missouri. In this case her concern was related to the termination of her pension that doesn’t always have to involve large sums of money. Now she sees the positive in her situation. She is an admirable and strong woman.
Zombies were piling up around the fence in 'Walking Dead' Boss Defends Season 4
Basically they have broken up the Governor’s section of the comics and have spread it out to a season and 1/2. While season four has spent more time exploring The Governor’s recent backstory and evolving characters including Rick, Carol (Melissa McBride) and Hershel (Scott Wilson), The Walking Dead has set up a midseason finale that largely seems to be telling the same Rick vs. The Governor story. Only this time, the beleaguered hero and eye-patched villain have more in common after returning to their respective leadership roles in a bid to protect their loved ones and communities.
Becoming a full-time director shouldn't be a problem for Ben Stiller

The actor-director Ben Stiller said “Movie isn’t art anymore, is just poor and cheap entertainment.” After three years of work on Walter Mitty, which he describes as “an incredible experience” and “a gift,” Stiller now contemplates a different future for himself in the film industry. After he has had a few movies that were really bad but has had some great ones over the years as well. Maybe his style of humor just isn’t for everyone.

Brian Griffin the Smartest Member of the 'Family Guy' is not going anywhere

Now Brian was funny, but people are not too sure about the new talking dog. Brian Griffin, a white Labrador who had lived with the Griffins on “Family Guy” for 11 years, died at 8 or 56 in people years. He was an amazing dog- intelligent, suave, resourceful, loyal, optimistic, thoughtful – and often seemed to be the only one in his family with an iota of common sense. As we mourn his loss let us all resolve to be more careful while driving – please, people, watch out for animals, children, etc.
The cause of death was runoverness, sparked by a hit-and-run accident while Brian and mad genius toddler pal Stewie were preparing to play street hockey in front of their Quahog home.

Josh Hutcherson’s opening Saturday Night Live monologue on Nov. 23 featured cast members dressed as characters from The Hunger Games. Hutcherson clearly enjoyed the skit and even poked fun at his own character, Peeta Mellark, who is often criticized for being the series’ damsel in distress.

The 67-year-old John Prine has lung Cancer and doctors found the cancer early and “see no reason why I won’t fully recover. We hope he gets well soon!
