Iconic rock band Motley Crue announced the details of their final performance. This will mark the end of their touring career and will conclude their two-year Final Tour cycle at the end of 2015 on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31 at Staples Center in their hometown of Los Angeles where the band’s career began 34 years ago.
The 2014 leg of the Final Tour was one of last year’s top grossing tours, selling close to a million tickets across 72 cities and grossing more than $45 million.
After 34 years performing together, the 2015 leg of the Final Tour will see the band play Japan in February, then Australia/New Zealand in the Spring. In June, Motley Crue will say farewell to the European Festival circuit with 3 massive performances at Download (UK), Sweden Rock (Sweden) and Novarock (Austria) Festivals before taking their can’t-miss show back to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico this summer for 34 final North American shows due to tremendous fan demand.
The North American dates will see the band visit cities such as Chicago, New York, Toronto, Atlanta, Mexico City and will be taking place in arenas exclusively to ensure fans in all cities get to experience the full show production of the Final Tour:
“In some of the cities, we could only reach a fraction of the fans who wanted to come see us play last year because of ticket demand so we’re coming back to those places to bring them our full production including the Cruecifly drum coaster, as well as all pyro and every other bell and whistle. Even despite the overwhelming fan demand we can only add so many new cities in North America because of our commitment to take the Final Tour global on our final year,” says Nikki Sixx (bass).
Audiences can also expect a high-energy performance from very special guest Alice Cooper, who joined the band for the Final Tour in 2014. He will be tearing up the stage for crowds across North America once again. The pairing has been roundly praised as a must-see by fans and media alike.
Following the North American summer shows, the band will take the Final Tour on more international dates this Fall before “all bad things come to an end” for good on New Year’s Eve 2015.
Motley Crue are also in the process of putting together the ultimate collector’s album package for the fans to be released later this year which will include the new track, “All Bad Things” amongst many other surprises, details of which will be announced in the near future.

Chart-topping San Francisco-natives Train are taking their latest hit album Bulletproof Picasso on the road with a 40+ city summer tour across North America with special guests The Fray and Matt Nathanson. The Picasso At The Wheel Summer Tour 2015.Fans across the country in cities such as Los Angeles, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Toronto and Nashville will have a chance to witness the band perform tracks from the new album—including the Top 10 radio single “Angel in Blue Jeans,” “Cadillac, Cadillac” and their new single “Bulletproof Picasso”—along with their many enigmatic, signature hits from the past 20 years.
Fans are also encouraged to show up early for the Patcast Tailgate tent, where Pat Monahan will periodically make an appearance throughout the tour. Located in the venue parking lot each night, ticket-holders can tailgate and enjoy classic rock DJ, give shout-outs to friends on the Patcast (Pat’s weekly podcast), and enter to win various prizes. The Patcast tent will also be the place for fans to register for the Mermaid Costume Contest and a chance to be brought onstage.
Train also announced their new single “Bulletproof Picasso” and its forthcoming music video, which will feature guest stars Emily Kinney (Beth on AMC’s The Walking Dead) and Reid Ewing (Dylan on ABC’s Modern Family).
Bulletproof Picasso—the band’s 7th studio album—debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 in September 2014. Billboard‘s Richard Bienstock says the band’s “wholehearted embrace of pop has unshackled Train, allowing it to revel in anything-goes stylistic tourism” that all feels “oddly cohesive, with the band’s rocker roots showing an impressive pliability to move within pop’s boundaries.”
Train has successfully traveled the nearly-unnavigable path of a contemporary, hit-making rock band while keeping their heads. The climb to the top began in San Francisco in 1994. The original 5-member band tenaciously built a loyal following, leading up to their own self-titled debut album, released by Columbia in 1998. The tumbling wordplay of “Meet Virginia” gave them their first unlikely radio hit, with 2001’s Drops Of Jupiter garnering multi-platinum status thanks to the double-Grammy winning title song that spent 10 months in the Top 40. In their typical ‘you-gotta’-nail-it-down-motherfucker’ style, the quixotic song snared the Best Rock Song trophy by beating out Coldplay and two U2 songs.
Paddington is utterly brilliant for adults and kids

From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (Harry Potter), Paddington (voiced by Ben Whishaw) is a young Peruvian bear who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family but his luck has changed until this rare talking bear catches the eye of a museum taxidermist (Nicole Kidman). During 1 hr. 35 min. this family film, full of comic sequences and locations from London makes it very touching and inventive to all the viewers. The film features an entirely computer-generated bear who interacts with a cast of esteemed actors such as Tim Downie, Ben Whishaw, Sally Hawkins, Hugh Bonneville, Madeleine Harris, a film that is full of European jokes.
People shall be enjoying the full cinematic experience and will laugh out loud during the funny bits. Even some are not keen on marmalade, the film is beautifully made (if a little cheesy) and a fitting homage to the character. Nicole Kidman particularly plays a the suited and booted Millicent taxidermist who determines to acquire him for the collection at the Natural History Museum. Her role is a great chance to play another baddie that attracted her to the project, especially for kids. She is a great actress who seems like she is trying too hard.
Paddington appears to be full of knowing winks and grimaces to the camera but the film has a wonderful message of tolerance for people (and bears) coming to the UK for a better life and contributing to British society.
