Mike and Dave need wedding dates” is a film full of laughs
Review and Photos by Alfonso De Elias.
During 105 minutes, Hard-partying brothers Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Zac Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys instead find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by an uncontrollable duo. From director Jake Szymanski who reflects the settle down and mature of two brothers that hope their wedding wouldn’t be a disaster. It’s a film full of funny scenes mainly with some girls on the center who behave nicely but hard at the same time. Each character have interesting personalities with sequences of bad temper, impulsive, superfluous, even Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza are super besties in real life in this film are absolutely insufferable. Even Alice has to grow up in her own way. This film makes us think about real relationships with memorable portrait of maturation. Definitely is a story full of manic energy where you can get laughs just winging it.
