From director David Leitch, “Once Upon a Deadpool” is synonym of survival and strength. Fred Savage and Ryan Reynolds are part of the beginning of this story. After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Miami’s hottest bartender, while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
For 116 minutes, you will enjoy a film full of balanced humor. This is one of the most enjoyable superheroes with super power. Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Jack Kesy are part of a cast well structured. Despite of the plot, Deadpool needs to kill a young mutant, at the end, this character reflects good heart but is an original and different story because, he is not an Avenger nor a hero and Marvel Comics mastermind Stan Lee, receives a touching and artful post-credits sequence. Definitely, a well structured sequel of “Deadpool 2,” full of bloodiest violence but in an homage to Savage’s starring role in the 1987 bedtime-story classic and makes it enjoyable.
