From the myth and fantasy to the classic Arthurian legend. All begins with the old school magic meets the modern world in the epic adventure THE KID WHO WOULD BE KING. Alex (Ashbourne Serkis) thinks he’s just another nobody, until he stumbles upon the mythical Sword in the Stone, Excalibur. Now, he must unite his friends and enemies into a band of knights and, together with the legendary wizard Merlin (Stewart), take on the wicked enchantress Morgana (Ferguson). With the future at stake, Alex must become the great leader he never dreamed he could be.

During 120 min director and writer Joe Cornish with a delightful story creates an entertaining film with Louis Ashbourne Serkis, Tom Taylor, Rebecca Ferguson, Patrick Stewart, Dean Chaumoo, Rhianna Dorris, Denise Gough, Angus Imrie. A cast well structured full of visual effects, bravery, imagination, brotherhood, swords in stones, ladies in lakes rebellion and adventure. Definitely is a film full of unreliable storytellers, magic and Excalibur as background and leadership meaning for kids who have commitment in life.
