Jackson Trial Continues (Day 11)

In trial today was Dr. Nader Kamangar who is a sleep and pulmonary expert, he stated that Dr. Murray’s decision not to call 911 when he noticed Michael Jackson wasn’t breathing was “an extreme and unconscionable deviation of the standard of care”.
Several others testified similar arguments that Dr. Murray should have used protocol and called for help immediately. Dr. Alon Steinberg, a cardiologist, took the stand and stated that Murray neglected using medical standards of care “it’s like leaving a baby that’s sleeping on your kitchen countertop,” Steinberg said. “There’s a very small chance the baby could fall over, or wake up and grab a knife or something”.
If Murray is convicted guilty Murray could spend four years in a California prison and lose his medical license.
