Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation had their 3rd annual Blue Diamond Gala Featured Concerts with Maroon 5 and Earth, Wind & Fire

The third annual Blue Diamond Gala was chaired by Mary Hart and Burt Sugarman, Sharon and Joe Hernandez, and Cathi and John Bendheim.

Attendees included Los Angeles Dodgers owners Mark Walter and Todd Boehly; manager Dave Roberts; coaches Josh Bard, Bob Geren, Rick Honeycutt, Tim Hyers, George Lombard and Steve Yeager; players  Luis Avilan, Austin Barnes, Cody Bellinger, Grant Dayton, Brett Eibner, Josh Fields, Logan Forsythe, Adrian Gonzalez, Yasmani Grandal, Frankin Gutierrez, Chris Hatcher, Enrique Hernandez, Rich Hill, Clayton Kershaw, Kenta Maeda, Brandon Morrow, Joc Pederson, Yasiel Puig, Sergio Romo, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Corey Seager, Ross Stripling, Chris Taylor, Justin Turner, Chase Utley, and Alex Wood; Dodgers alumni Ron Cey, Steve Garvey, Eric Karros and Manny Mota,; Dodgers broadcasters Ned Colletti , Joe Davis, Nomar Garciaparra, John Hartung, Orel Hershiser, Jerry Hairston Jr., John Hartung, Jorge Jarrin, Rick Monday, Alanna Rizzo, Charley Steiner, Kelli Tennant, Fernando Valenzuela and Pepe Yniguez;  Blue Diamond Gala host Kevin Frazer; and LADF Executive Director Nichol Whiteman.

Definitely, the most popular event in terms of charity. Its primary focus is to support cornerstone programs in Sports, Recreation, Education, Literacy and Health, Wellness benefitting children and families in need throughout the greater Los Angeles region.

The champion world boxer Johnny Tapia was found dead in his Albuquerque, N.M., home on Sunday. Johnny Tapia won major world championships in three weight classes and was one of the elite fighters of the late 1990s and early 2000s. He is a boxer from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Police stated that his death is uknown and an autopsy will be done to determine reasons for his death. He was 45 years old. Galatview was invited to Big Bear where each fighter trained for the battle. Canelo trained like a beast when he was practicing hard punches on a 6ft, overweight champion. Canelo stated that he does not drink alcohol; he trains hard, and keeps focus on the fight. During his free time he watches movies, studies film, and play billiards. Sugar Shane Mosley trained by throwing hard punches in the ring, beating a punching bag, and constantly ducking when his trainer swung at him. During his free time Mosley spends time with his son and bowls to distress. Mosley stated that this time “he is ready” to win and is training hard to beat the much faster and younger Canelo. Who will win? May 5 is the battle at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas.

Fabrice Muamba in a "critically ill condition"

Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Fabrice Muamba has been admitted to the Heart Attack Centre at the London Chest Hospital where he is currently in a critically ill condition in intensive care after collapsing during today’s match against Tottenham, during the FA Cup quarter-final. However, his family has no emitted comments and there is no further information at this stage.
