Not everyone is lucky as "The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared"

By Jenny Alvarez

After a long and colorful life working in munitions and getting entangled in the Spanish Civil War, the Manhattan Project, and other definitive events of the 20th century, Allan Karlsson (Robert Gustafsson) finds himself stuck in a nursing home. Determined to escape on his 100th birthday, he leaps out of a window and onto the nearest bus, kicking off an unexpected journey involving, among other surprises, a suitcase stuffed with cash, some wicked criminals, and an elephant named Sonya. Like an unruly Nordic cousin of Forrest Gump, Allan’s youthful escapades and current adventures weave together into an offbeat treat for anyone who’s young at heart. During 114 minutes with English, Spanish, French, German, Swedish, Italian, Russian languages, this awsome film will keep you full of pace to see a foreign film. Directed by  Felix Herngren, It would be the adventure of a lifetime for anyone else, but Allan has a larger-than-life backstory: Not only has he witnessed some of the most important events of the twentieth century. Obviously it’ s full of wild adventure with great combination of wits, luck, and hilarious circumstances especially when he approached his visits to foreign countries, and his conversations with world leaders, with a refreshing sort of naïveté. His complete apathy toward political matters gives the viewer  a strangely fresh, open-minded perspective. For fans of independent and foreign films, this one is completely contrived and utterly delightful.

You won't want the story to end for Fifty Shades of Grey

Even some books were written very well in the film version changes. Casting of Fifty Shades of Grey did a good job. Ana is a strong woman and she did what she wanted. It is not abusing a woman. It is a DOM and a SUB and the SUB knew what she was getting into and had the right to walk away any time she wanted. The male strip scenes were all decent. Despite two complex characters stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have real sense of depth that other actors, both  have accomplished the real goal of each character. The good news are for fans of this great film, especially for Christian  Grey  and Anastasia Steele, will be able to have the ultimate at-home movie experience when Fifty Shades of Grey, the global phenomenon that grossed more than $560 million globally, comes to Digital HD and Blue-ray,DVD and on Demand Friday, May 8, 2015 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. This great film would be the best choice as a great gift because you will see an alternate ending and the exclusive tease to the next film, Fifty Shades Darker, along with almost two hours of all-new bonus features that go behind the scenes of this year’s hottest romance.

During 2 hours, 6 minutes, you will enjoy this film the best dialogues, romance scenes with some language subtitles in English SDH, Spanish and French subtitles and a great quality sound in English DTS-HD Master Audio with 5.1/Dolby Digital 2.0, Spanish DTS Surround 5.1, French DTS Surround 5.1.

Cynicism or drama in “Adult Beginners”

By GTVW Staff

From Director Ross Katz and experienced cast as Rose Byrne, Nick Kroll, Bobby Cannavale, Paula Garces, Jane Krakowski, Joel McHale, Bobby Moynihan, Mike Birbiglia and Josh Charlesa young, a young hipster entrepreneur (Nick Kroll) crashes and burns on the eve of his company’s big launch. With his entire life in disarray, he leaves Manhattan to move in with his estranged pregnant sister (Rose Byrne), brother-in-law (Bobby Cannavale) and three year-old nephew in the suburbs — only to become their manny.  Faced with real responsibility, he may finally have to grow up — but not without some bad behavior first.

All characters rediscover their humanity in a comedic film with touchy feely leanings. Adult Beginners has some laughs, it’s really more of a gentle dramedy. However, this also reflects the relationship with siblings who have been forced to assess the damage they’ve done to each other, and to reaffirm the fragility and resilience of their bond. Definitely something that happens in real life even if just to see how well Kroll handles some heavier material this film is worth to see it.

In press conference some members of cast said:

Rose Byrne:”The script was well written with a great dialogue and character really since first reading so I tried not to screw up too much. Of course complex relationships are reflected here and that’s why my character has to understand one part of the real meaning of forgiveness.”

Nick Kroll:”This movie has an extension, culturally of my character. I tried to play characters that have emotional intelligence or lack of intelligence just being the character reactions situations. I tried to play comedy and this movie has a lot of things to do me, especially frighten stuff with Bobby and some reactions of my character. It was exciting to explore, especially with Rose’s freighting stuff. “

Bobby Cannavale:”I just tried to be realistic with people with certainly age, especially at 40’s  who suppose to be adults and wild  and they don’t understand why they still struggling and in my case I don’t want to be my own father.”

Gal Gadot will be part of “The Wonder Women” for the upcoming movie. Despite she’s not muscular enough for the role, she is gorgeous, athletic and she is going to be beating off to her in that costume for sure. This was also the costume design worn by Lynda Carter in the 1970s TV show of the character. Now this film will be directed by Zack Snyder.
