Written & Directed by Gareth Evans, The Raid 2 with a great cast Iko Uwais, Arifin Putra, Tio Pakusadewo, Oka Antara, Julie Estelle, Ryuhei Matsuda, Kenichi Endo, Kazuki Kitamura involves a fury fighting with Rama and his way out of a building filled with gangsters and madmen – a fight that left the bodies of police and gangsters alike piled in the halls – rookie Jakarta cop Rama thought it was done and he could resume a normal life. He couldn’t have been more wrong.
A great sequel of action and a new odyssey of violence, bone-crunching force him to set aside his own life and history and take on a new identity as the violent offender “Yuda.” In prison he must gain the confidence of Uco – the son of a prominent gang kingpin – to join the gang himself, laying his own life on the line in a desperate all-or-nothing gambit to bring the whole rotten enterprise to an end. For all fight fans should brace themselves for a bruising, blistering ride even the plot is not the best the main characters show their best fighting skills faster, and more lethal than ever. The most curious characters were the Hammer Girl and Baseball Bat Man deserve a spin-off especially with their fights that are full of dynamite but at the end this movie has to contrasts: a beauty in a modern martial-arts epic and brutality, capturing the art of violence with a great style in all the characters involved. Definitely is an awesome movie full of entertainment and fun which suffers from too much potential. Now is available July 8th on Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD in 150 minutes full of action, bloody sequences with tons of deleted scenes with the original version with the best choreography scenes of some of the violent scenes. Even is rated R , this movie has intensive English Language Dolby Digital, Spanish Dolby surround and subtitles in English and Spanish. Definitely must be part of your collection for those who love intense shootings and fights.

Third Person is a movie with the deepest feelings
By Jenny Alvarez

This film tells three stories of love, passion, trust and betrayal. The tales play out in New York, Paris and Rome through three couples who appear to have nothing in common and only tangential connections. But there is always a third person in any relationship — perhaps not romantically, perhaps you aren’t even aware of their existence, but they are there. The cast is very well selected led by Liam Neeson, Adrien Brody, Mila Kunis and James Franco. It’s emotional with European mystery style. Even is an odd script Kunis’s character turning up to clean hotel rooms in both Manhattan and France — aren’t just sloppy mistakes, but the idea was that she was suffering for her child. But the drama and intensity are elements for each character in a different manner. Michael (Neeson) is holed up in a Paris hotel working on his manuscript when his young lover (Olivia Wilde) arrives. This an intellectual couple but the bad part is that both tortures the other behind the backs of their respective lovers. In Michael’s case, his enormously understanding wife back in the States is played by Kim Basinger. In few words in 136 minutes, as a viewer you will be deeply involved in each character’s life. However, there are several love scenes that are supposed to be torrid but seem icky and puzzle in which truth is revealed in glimpses, and clues are caught by the corner of your eye — and nothing is truly what it seems.
Vin Diesel is dealing with a movie without Paul Walker
By GalaTView Staff
It’s heartbreaking to continue on a project that great actors started together. And this is the case with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker (who died last year in a tragic car accident) for the film Fast and Furious 7. According to some sources closed to the cast, Vin misses his friend and it is probably beyond hard to film this saga without Paul. But as the main character, Vin will continue to fight for it and bring his fans a great movie, especially even if he spents a whole day in his trailer one day and reflects certain sadness in his face.

Dracula is synonym of another vampire. In addition to myth, the story contains some actual history. Luke Evans will be play Prince Vlad. Certainly Dracula re-tellings or “re-imaginings” will surprise based on Bram Stoker’s supernatural horror masterpiece but this talented actor prepares to transform himself into the king of vampires ‘Dracula’ film. Hopefully his character makes him to be the best and major breakout.

Estela (Andrea Vergara) is a 12 year old girl who has just fallen crazy in love with a young police cadet who wants to run away with her and get married. Trying to achieve this dream, her family will have to live the violence that is devastating the region. Heli is her oldest brother (Armando Espitia) who lives with his wife and baby. Both suffer in special crime force and, later, the corrupt local police only reinforces the picture of this family as victims of forces way beyond their control. The story of a rural, working-class Mexican family torn apart by the drug trade and makes it graphically hard to see it but reflects the real life of locals from any poor region from Mexico. The director Amat Escalante shows the suffering endured by his protagonists combined with corruption and hopeless of the authorities and society. In 105 minutes, the viewer will be engaged with the background music especially with “Los Pasteles Verdes” and their song “Esclavo y Amo” a well chosen song with deep lyrics for the story. The story is so deliberately riveting, and simply because you might miss the next great shot. The background is really realistic with the ambience of the characters. There is not much optimism in the view held by Escalante, especially for the destiny of each character which some of them are lie they are living in hell without any hope of moral and spiritual recovery lies in the next generation who is already irreparably damaged. And the innocent of Estela is the best model of her tragic circumstances. The language used is a little bit dull but the plot is sharp of all this escalating chaos.

Elena, a young Brazilian woman, moved to New York with the same dream her mother had: to become a film actress. She left behind a childhood spent in hiding during the years of the military dictatorship. She also left Petra, her beloved seven-year-old sister. Over time, Elena’s calls and letters home trailed off, until one day they stopped entirely. Years later, Petra also becomes an actress and heads to New York in search of her destiny, but also in search of her troubled sister. She remembers and imagines Elena through home movies, letters, a diary, and dreamlike sequences full of longing. As she tries to unravel the mystery of her sister, their stories overlap and begin to blur, challenging us to discover truths about forgiveness, loss, catharsis, and love. A film between documentary, diary, and fever dream which delves into the abyss of one family’s drama, revealing at once the inspiration that can be born from tragedy. It’s a sensitive film and heartbreaking story full of courageous that takes you inside Petra’s mind. In some scenes, Elena is in New York City, a city that reflects a cinematic dream combined with urban poetry especially for a well structured and personal documentary directed by Petra Costa.
