Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, and Wisin & Yandel announced the start of a “Summer 2012” tour together, in Los Angeles. “We are more than touched because this tour begins with our friends, Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias. And we are prepared to deliver the best performance so our fans can sit down and witness the best show of their lives.” Wisin & Yandel tells us.
Jennifer Lopez is a multifaceted artist, singer, actress, designer, businesswomen, and a mom. Lopez has sold more than 55 million records worldwide. She has reached a global success. This year, “On The Floor” became a viral video most seen by a female artist in the history of YouTube, with half million views.
Enrique Iglesias has sold 70 million records worldwide. Enrique has achieved eight world tours in his career, having carried its successes literally to each corner of the Planet; including New York, Mexico, Madrid, London, Sidney; as well as cities in Cairo, Latvian, Minsk, Morocco, Istambul, and Castrate Town. Enrique has a record of 22 songs landing at the top of the Latin American Songs of the Billboard.
Wisin & Yandel are an enormous success as a duet of Urban Latin American music. They have received numerous multi-platinum awards in the United States and Latin American, including an American Grammy and two Latin American Grammys. Their new album titled “Head” will go on sale June and contains collaborations with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, T-Pain, and Timberland.

James is eager to team up with Sean Lennon, Dhani Harrison and Zak Starkey to create the next generation of the Fab Four.

However, he admits Ringo Starr’s son Zak is too busy to join – but his brother Jason, also a drummer, has expressed a keen interest.

He said: “I’d be up for it. Sean seemed to be into it, Dhani seemed to be into it. I’d be happy to do it.”

Asked if the group had been mooted, James replied: “Yeah, a little bit.”

 

Nicki Minaj Asks López to “Scoot Over”

Nicki Minaj performed her latest hit “Starships” in American Idol. She asked one of the judges Jennifer Lopez, to “scoot over a little bit” from the judges’ table. Jennifer Lopez’s response was not so friendly “There’s not enough room for both of us!” Jennifer laughed nervously. Looks like Minaj cannot move Lopez from the throne.

Gotye Scheduled to Perform with SNL

Gotye is making his SNL performance on the world-renowned comedy show this Saturday, April 14–right before his Coachella dates. Gotye’s video “Somebody That I Used To Know” has become a viral sensation. Wouter “Wally” De Backer (stage name Gotye) is an Austrialian musician and songwriter, who has strong love for the arts and will be performing in Coachella. Gotye is somebody that we all definitely know.
