The best speech of the best Director of 2015

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu who won three Oscars on Sunday night and made many jokes after his three wins on Sunday night, especially after his name was announced as the best winner of the night. Despite he said he’s the “worst-English speaking guy here.” “Two Mexicans in a row. That’s suspicious, I guess.” Gonzales Iñárritu dedicated the Oscar to the people of Mexico and to Mexican immigrants in the United States. He delivered these words, “I pray that we can find and build a government that we deserve, and the ones that live in this country, who are a part of the latest generation of immigrants in this country, I just pray that they can be treated with the same dignity and respect as the ones who came before and built this incredible immigrant nation,” said the director. It’s very clear that as Mexican he also suffers all social problems as normal citizen from Mexico. Iñárritu had spent more time denouncing the corruption and impunity in his country, though, and less time on the more PC US-friendly topic of US immigration. Definitely, his work is recognized in USA and not only him, Emmanuel Lubezky is another talented photographer who won his second Oscar and both have been celebrated not only in Mexico but in Latin America. Hopefully, the whole world will know that all made in Mexico is well done no matter race color, gender, language or religion. Congratulations for both!

This year, there will be many surprises for fans of movies around the world. Despite some complaints about black actors who usually get cast, when they do, as servants and slaves (as they did in the movies mentioned above, with the exception of Precious, in which most of the minority actors were ghetto characters). But the main issues with Hollywood and beyond not creating enough roles for minority performers and not looking beyond, creatively, to cast a role in an original script of, say a cop or a teacher with, instead of another middle aged white guy, with a woman or a person of color (or both). But now, I will prefer to talk about some successful Latin Directors and some actors that will be part of this ceremony. Director, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu from Mexico, could win the Oscar for best director for the second year with “Birdman.” Argentina’s Foreign-Language nominee Wild Tales from Director-Writer Damián Szifrón and The Reaper (La Parka) is nominated for Documentary Short Subject. Directed by Gabriel Serra Arguello from Nicaragua, produced by the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC). Who is going to win the valuable Oscar?
GalaTView will be in life and the best pics and information will be updated as soon as possible from Dolby Theater, Los Angeles.

The Globetrotters’ one-of-a-kind show is unrivaled in the world of family entertainment
By Jenny Álvarez
Photos Alfonso De Elías
The Globetrotters have played games on ice rinks, in dusty bullrings, haylofts, rooftops, empty swimming pools, on board aircraft carriers, on top of desks put together, and even during a rainstorm. The world famous Harlem Globetrotters, featuring some of the greatest athletes and entertainers on the planet, were at Staples Center in their famous tour “Washington Generals Revenge Tour.”In this show these great trotters played a portion of each game with a camouflage basketball as a sign of respect to all who protect our freedom. Big stars such as Big Easy Lofton, Ant Atkinson, Hi-Lite Bruton, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard, Firefly Fisher and Moose Weekes, plus female stars TNT Maddox, T-Time Brawner and Sweet J Ekworomadu* were received as heroes in LA.
In general terms this show is very enjoyable and exceptional. Even the half time show was entertaining and fun. This was definitely a family event and well worth the money. The players are very talented and this show includes comedy, dance, and amazing basketball. The guys keep the fans entertained. Also before the game started they had entertainment on the floor then after the game they had a free autograph session with the players. They were really nice and even posed for a few pictures with the kids. I would definitely recommend this show.

Mariah Carey killed a song
By GalaTView Staff

The lighting of the 85-foot-tall Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center was celebrated with a performance of Mariah Carey. However, her performance didn’t go well when she sang the holiday hit, “All I Want for Christmas is You.” So in many social networks Mariah received bad critics about it. Her excuse was that situation was beyond her control. She apologized to all that showed up. According to some rumors she arrived more than three hours late to the taping, apparently because she was talking with her lawyer about her divorce from Nick Cannon.
