“October Gale” is a story about a couple warily exploring their growing bond under extreme circumstances.Writer-director Ruba Nadda has received critical acclaim for character-driven dramas such as SABAH and CAIRO TIME (winner of Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2009 Festival). In this film, she brings her astute psychological insight to bear on an intimate, suspenseful thriller. It’s a gloomy movie, about people who are grieving over their respective tragedies. The best scenes involve realistic fiction that was meant to be artsy and romantic. The plot develops in a great and picturesque scenery. Despite the first scary moments, all the performers did a majestic work with their characters and for 1 hr., 31 mins. you will enjoy the performance of each member of the cast Patricia Clarkson, Scott Speedman, Tim Roth and more.

Wild Tales is a film full of Argentinean talents

A film full of emotions caused by stress and depression for many people. This is a movie about those people. Vulnerable in the face of a reality that shifts and suddenly turns unpredictable with dark humor in which some characters suffered undeniable pleasure of losing control trough madness. From the Argentine writer-director Damián Szifron who is expert in black comedy all the cast Liliana Ackerman, Luis Manuel Altamirano García, Alejandro Angelini, and more, were the best in this genre. This great film includes 6 Stories – 6 masterpieces! They perfectly combine thriller, drama, humor and the common topic is the violence. Each history is independent of the other, but all of them have something special that makes you really enjoy. All of them don’t have a weak point.
It’s clear that Szifrón has Almodóvar’s influence with satirize, social classes, justice, bureaucracy and marriage sensibility.
Definitely is very psychological movie full of revenge with some violence but in 122 minutes with compilation films, certain episodes (all are of different lengths) work better than others even all of them have sarcasm, dark humor sense but all the performances are very well structured and all the characters themselves to push them towards the abyss, making it as the best terrific Argentinean film.

You will enjoy an especial day At Middleton

Academy Award® nominees Andy Garcia (Ocean’s 11, City Island) and Vera Farmiga (A&E’s “Bates Motel”, Up in the Air) star as straight-laced George and eccentric Edith, two strangers who meet on their children’s campus tour at the idyllic Middleton College. Failing comically to connect with their kids, George and Edith play hooky together, ditching the official tour for a carefree adventure reminiscent of their own college years. But what begins as an afternoon of fun soon becomes a revealing and enlightening experience that will change their lives forever. Taissa Farmiga (“American Horror Story”), Spencer Lofranco (Jamesy Boy), Peter Riegert (“Dads”), and Tom Skerritt (“Picket Fences”) also star in this story about what can happen on your first day of college.
Definitely this movie has a good eye for visual composition. Both characters make the fictive Middleton in a very pleasant place in which timelessness of youth is a great element in this story. Although there are some depressing facts of life in George and Edith, together are perfectly counterbalanced with humor and heart, with good feelings and celebrates all the different life stages full of hope and new phases. In few words you have to live one but with happiness and less fatalities.
During a press conference Andy Garcia (George) said: “I have been working with Arturo Sandoval since many years ago and his music was great when he came to help us for this movie and I didn’t play anything for the movie, he did everything with different instruments such as sax, piano, he is a genius.”
Vera Farmiga (Edith):”I worked with my sister, she has 21 years old between us and she actually has not preparation for this but I want her for this role and Andy asked me for any suggestions for Taissa’s role and she got a lot of attention in her career and the results of her performance in the film were that she took a risk and definitely she is my baby sister but I understand that her whole name confuses and most of you think that she is my daughter and I’m very motherly certainly and is very relevant that she is capable and has certain motion and charming for this role and she got it for her talent because she is a fine actress. My role was excited with her behave and she was turning 18 with a real growing even flirty with George.”
