Sometimes people continue iconic stuff or remake but this is not the case with  DuckTales series which is coming to Disney in 2017. The new series will star the same beloved characters as the old: Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Launchpad McQuack, Donald Duck, Duckworth, Gyro Gearloose, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell, Poe, Ma Beagle, the Beagle Boys, Mrs. Beakley, and Webbigail Vanderquack. Hopefully, they use the same classic 3D or more, that it will be fantastic!

"Fifty Shades of Grey" Wins Box Office Again: We Ask, Do Women Want Sexual Submission?

By GTVW Staff

With a worldwide total of $410.6 million, “Fifty Shades of Grey” is the top grossing U.S. film for a second, straight weekend. Tantalized by explicit depictions of female sexual submission, American women flocked to the film’s debut, and made up 68 percent of theater audiences. Which begs the question, do women really want to be dominated in the bedroom? Yes and no, says Joanne Harvie, a great commentator.

“We talk to real women, about their real sexual desires, every day,” said Harvie. “Many of men are enticed by the fantasy of their partners taking control, but they aren’t interested in hardcore sadomasochism. Like most fictional movies, “Fifty Shades of Grey” pushes the boundaries of reality. So, a woman may enjoy furry handcuffs and a firm spanking, but she might not want to be chained to a bedpost and beaten with a whip.

Unlocking Female Sexual Submission

Harvie went onto to elaborate, “Women have romanticized the fantasy of sexual submission since before ‘Gone with the Wind.’ The idea of relinquishing control to a partner can be a powerful aphrodisiac for many. It can tap into an individual’s desire to feel wanted and needed. Today, we all have busy lives with work and kids. And some women are craving this type of affirmation from their partners. When someone ties you to a bed, it screams I want you. I need you. I have to have you now!”

This concept can be confusing for men, Harvie admits. “There may be a woman who saw ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ and now her lover wants to know if he should be more like Christian Grey. It is a fine line, but a woman can help communicate her comfort level, so that her sexual boundaries are respected. Respecting limits is paramount.”

Giving Him Control, While Setting Limits

“If a woman wants her lover to be more commanding, she can give him a sexy gift that illustrates her desire,” Harvie says. “For example, if she wants him to take charge in the bedroom, she could give him a blindfold or handcuffs with a playful note that indicates her level of comfort. If it says, ‘Tease me until I scream,’ that suggests more foreplay. If it says, ‘I’ve been naughty, spank me,’ he’ll know she wants a spanking. With all role playing, setting and respecting safe words are extremely important. They communicate when limits have been reached, and play needs to stop.”

Harvie adds, “Also know that some women aren’t interested in submission at all, and that’s fine. The trick is to find your passion and share it with your partner respectfully.

Multi-platinum selling recording artist Bryan Adams will be plugging in once again and hitting the road with his full band in April to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his iconic rock album, Reckless. The RECKLESS 30TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR will kick off on April 11 in Houston, Texas at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, before hitting cities throughout the U.S., including New York City, Las Vegas, Chicago, Dallas and more. Adams will be performing a set that will honor not only the 30th anniversary of Reckless — a deluxe version of which was released in November 2014 featuring exclusive expanded bonus material — but also his endless catalogue of rock classics. Originally released in 1984, Reckless produced a record six huge hits: “Run to You,” “Kids Wanna Rock,” “Somebody,” “Summer of ’69,” “One Night Love Affair” and “It’s Only Love,” a duet with the incomparable Tina Turner. Reckless also gave Adams his first U.S. #1 on Billboard with “Heaven,” as well as a Diamond Award for over a million copies sold in Canada. The album was the turning point in Adams’ career, resulting in his hugely successful World Wide in ’85 Tour.

As Canada’s best-known ambassador, Adams has spent the last three decades making music history. He has sold upward of 65 million records, toured six continents and achieved #1 status in over 40 countries around the world. He has been awarded the Order of Canada, has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and has a Star on Canada’s Walk of Fame. Adams has also been nominated for — and won —several Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Grammy Awards. He has a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been inducted into Wembley’s Square of Fame.

The best speech of the best Director of 2015

By Jenny Alvarez

Photos by Alfonso De Elias

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu who won three Oscars on Sunday night and made many jokes  after his three wins on Sunday night, especially after his name was announced as the best winner of the night. Despite he said he’s the “worst-English speaking guy here.” “Two Mexicans in a row. That’s suspicious, I guess.” Gonzales Iñárritu dedicated the Oscar to the people of Mexico and to Mexican immigrants in the United States.  He delivered these words, “I pray that we can find and build a government that we deserve, and the ones that live in this country, who are a part of the latest generation of immigrants in this country, I just pray that they can be treated with the same dignity and respect as the ones who came before and built this incredible immigrant nation,” said the director. It’s very clear that as Mexican he also suffers all social problems as normal citizen from Mexico. Iñárritu had spent more time denouncing the corruption and impunity in his country, though, and less time on the more PC US-friendly topic of US immigration. Definitely, his work is recognized in USA and not only him, Emmanuel Lubezky is another talented photographer who won his second Oscar and both have been celebrated not only in Mexico but in Latin America. Hopefully, the whole world will know that all made in Mexico is well done no matter race color, gender, language or religion.  Congratulations for both!

Red Carpet, celebrities, photos and more for The Oscars Awards 2015

This year, there will be many surprises for fans of movies around the world. Despite some complaints about black actors who usually get cast, when they do, as servants and slaves (as they did in the movies mentioned above, with the exception of Precious, in which most of the minority actors were ghetto characters). But the main issues with Hollywood and beyond not creating enough roles for minority performers and not looking beyond, creatively, to cast a role in an original script of, say a cop or a teacher with, instead of another middle aged white guy, with a woman or a person of color (or both). But now, I will prefer to talk about some successful Latin Directors and some actors that will be part of this ceremony. Director, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu from Mexico, could win the Oscar for best director for the second year with “Birdman.” Argentina’s Foreign-Language nominee Wild Tales from Director-Writer Damián Szifrón and The Reaper (La Parka) is nominated for Documentary Short Subject. Directed by Gabriel Serra Arguello from Nicaragua, produced by the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC). Who is  going to win the valuable Oscar?

GalaTView will be in life and the best pics and information will be updated as soon as possible from Dolby Theater, Los Angeles.

Ricky Martin Joins Simon Cowell, Saban Brands and a Latin TV channel will be part of “La Banda”

By GalaTView Staff

-International music superstar, Ricky Martin, has been named executive producer and the first judge to be revealed for Univision Network’s highly anticipated music-based reality entertainment competition “La Banda,” set to premiere in September 2015. Ricky Martin, together with the entire “La Banda” team, will focus on finding the ultimate Latino boyband through the largest talent search in U.S Hispanic TV history. The music-based, reality-competition show “La Banda” was developed by an important TV  Communications (UCI), Simon Cowell’s SYCO Entertainment and Haim Saban’s Saban Brands and co-produced with FremantleMedia Latin America. The news was revealed live by Ricky Martin on the pre-show special ahead of “Premio Lo Nuestro,” the longest running Latin music awards show in the U.S.

“I know Ricky and he is as excited and passionate as me about the show and I know he’s going to do an amazing job.”

Ricky Martin, winner of multiple GRAMMY and LATIN GRAMMY awards, among others, is undoubtedly the most influential Latin music artist worldwide. He began his career at age twelve with one of the most successful groups in the Latin music scene and since then, his strong discipline, passion for music and undeniable charisma have made of his musical trajectory one of the most admired of a generation. Recognized as “an international icon and global ambassador to Latin music” by Billboard and honored by the Latin Recording Academy as “Person of the Year,” Ricky has sold over 85 million albums worldwide and has an impressive 95 platinum-certified records.

Ricky Martin’s highly-anticipated tenth studio album, A Quien Quiera Escuchar, was released on February 10th, debuting at No. 1 on US and Puerto Rico album charts. Available in all distribution formats and in two versions – original and deluxe – A Quien Quiera Escuchar is perhaps the most personal and intimate recording that the singer, philanthropist, author, actor and entrepreneur has released. The first two singles, “Adiós” y “Disparo Al Corazón,” have reached the top of national and international charts.

“I am very excited to be a part of this innovative program, together with Simon Cowell,” said Ricky Martin. “Our community needs musical projects in order to cultivate its talents; which is why I feel it’s the perfect moment for a show like ‘La Banda.’ There is so much talent to be discovered and I’m sure we’ll find the next musical phenomenon with the help of not only the judges but also the fans.”

“We are on a search for a world class band and we needed a world class judge and that’s why I’m thrilled to announce Ricky Martin as our first judge on La Banda,” said Simon Cowell. “I know Ricky and he is as excited and passionate as me about the show and I know he’s going to do an amazing job.”

With a new take on the singing competition show format, “La Banda” will search the U.S. and Latin America to put together the ultimate Latino boyband. Representing all Hispanic cultures, contestants will compete for their place in “La Banda” and for a coveted recording contract with Sony Music Latin, label home to the most prolific Latin music artists, along with executive producer Simon Cowell’s SYCO Music, the recording label for the world’s biggest selling boyband, One Direction.

To submit information, interested participants can enter LaBandaoficial.com and upload pictures, videos or music files. By registering online, selected contestants will receive a “golden ticket” which will allow them to participate in a private audition with the production team. The online casting will be followed by casting events across the United States and Puerto Rico in the spring of 2015. The talent search is open to boys 14 and older residing in the United States and Puerto Rico. The winning band will be managed by Ricky Martin.
