James Corden replaces Craig Ferguson at “The Late Late Show,” the show that has come on after Letterman for as long as he’s been at CBS. However for some people he is not very well known but here is part of his background: he was the creator of the critically-acclaimed British sitcom Gavin & Stacey and won a Tony Award in 2012 for his role in One Man, Two Governors. Even Colbert/Corden seems like an effort for CBS to become the sophisticated counterpoint to Fallon/Meyers.
