It was fifty years ago when the four lads from Liverpool, England, peacefully invaded the American shores and appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, one of the most popular television shows of that era. Ed Sullivan was 62-year-old at the time, and he welcomed them very friendly in a charismatic short interview.

Holly Robinson Peete is perhaps best known for her TV roles as Judy Hoffs on the 21 Jump Street, Vanessa Russell on the ABC sitcom Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, and Christina on CBS’s Mike and Molly.
An incredible humanitarian and children’s advocate, Peete began the HollyRod Foundation in 1997 to provide support for people living with Parkinson’s disease and their families and in 2007, expanded its reach to support families with children on the autism spectrum after her son, RJ received a diagnosis. Peete’s children’s book, My Brother Charlie, that chronicles a child’s experience with a twin sibling who has autism, won her an NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Literary Work” in March 2011.
The smallest to the tallest get the rockstar treatment and of course loads of superstar hands-on activities for all ages, this is one rockin’ party your family does not want to miss!

Jay Leno is without a doubt, one of the best talk show host out of any of the rest of them. Jimmy Fallon is taking his place. He is going to be missed by many of his fans but this is a show business and his good-bye was seen in more homes than his previous good-bye. For some people it has nothing to do with the reality of American life and society, this is still unknown and tragic for a host like him.

Amy Adams cried about Philip Seymour Hoffman during Inside the Actors Studio Appearance. Her tears were for his children, the 3 children under 11 who will have to live with this for the rest of their lives and Philip was an incredible actor who also had a terrible addiction and his end was tragic.
Super Bowl was the best halftime show ever was

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea Explains Band’s ‘Miming’ at the Super Bowl due at certain events it’s common practice to have backing tracks. The point is did they make the record or backing tracks and there is no question on that they did. In the case of the Superbowl, they have about 12 minutes to assemble the entire stage and get the vocals set. After a brief montage of soldiers sending their love home, Mars did the tender piano ballad “Just the Way You Are” punctuated by fireworks. Then it was Pepsi logo time. A little Heart or Six Mix A Lot would’ve made sense considering the scoreboard. But it was a Russell Wilson-style coming out party all the same.
