More Witnesses Take the Stand
Taking the stand today was Michael Jackson’s nurse Cherilyn Lee, she stated that Jackson asked to be given propofol.
Lee began to get emotional and responded to Jackson that nobody who “cares or has your best interests at heart will give you propofol”, CNN. Jackson stated that he simply needed to be monitored when given the medication.
Other witnesses also stated that Dr. Murray looked in a “severe distressed” state at the UCLA Hospital, where Jackson was being treated before he die

Turkey Quake
Approximately 230 dead in Turkey quake, 1,300 injured: “Using shovels, heavy machinery and their bare hands, rescue workers scrambled through piles of rubble to find survivors Monday after a deadly 7.2-magnitude earthquake devastated parts of eastern Turkey. There were conflicting reports about the number dead. As many as 264 people are dead and 1,300 are injured after Sunday’s quake, Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin told reporters Monday.”

The Trial Returns
Dr. Allan Metzger who also treated Michael Jackson, took the stand. He stated that Jackson asked for “intravenous sleep medicine” for his inability to sleep.
Jackson told him he needed an anesthetic delivered by IV because “he did not believe any oral medicine would be helpful,” Metzger said. Metzger said that despite Jackson’s request, he only gave him a prescription for two oral sedatives to help him sleep, reported CNN.
Deputy District Attorney David Walgren used the defense witness to show that giving Jackson propofol was unreasonable.
“Is there any amount of money that would have convinced you to give him intervenous propofol in his house?” Walgren asked Metzger. Metzger responded “absolutely not”.
A nurse also took the stand and stated that no natural remedies worked to put Jackson to sleep.

President Barack Obama on Friday declared an end to the Iraq war

President Barack Obama announced on Friday October 21st that the Iraq War will come to a close before the end of the year, bringing around 40,000 troops back home and ending the combat mission which began in March of 2003. After nearly nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over,” Obama said.
According to the history, those reasons for the Iraqi invasion were cooked up afterwards, when they couldn’t find any WMD’s, the real reason for the invasion. The invasion took the Sunnis out of power in Iraq and upset the balance of power in the Middle East, empowering Iran to develop their WMD’s and support terrorist organizations throughout the region. Then we have to ask the Sunnis in Iraq how they feel about having their country turned over to Iran.
