The Jackson Trial Continues (Day 9)
As the trial continues, Dr. Murray informed detectives that Michael Jackson was unable to sleep, unless he took propofol.
During his taped interview with investigators, he said Jackson referred to the drug as “milk.” The interview was played in court for the first time Friday and had never been heard previously by the public.
Prosecutors say they found the pharmacist, Tim Lopez, who sold the propofol that killed Jackson. Lopez testified at Dr. Conrad Murray’s preliminary hearing in January that he shipped more than 15 liters of the surgical anesthetic propofol to the apartment of Murray’s girlfriend over the three months before Jackson’s death.

The Jackson Trial Continues (Day 8)
Dr. Conrad Murray’s lawyer stated that a coroner’s investigator made “substantial mistakes” when she investigated Jackson’s bedroom and that she has made significant changes in her testimony since the preliminary hearing last January, stated CNN.
County Coroner’s toxicologist Dan Anderson, who studied the drugs in Jackson’s body, began his testimony Thursday morning as the prosecution introduces scientific evidence that is key to their effort to prove that Murray is criminally responsible for his death.
Murray’s fingerprint was found on that 100-milliliter propofol bottle that prosecutors contend led to Jackson’s death, according to a fingerprint analysis accepted by both the prosecution and defense Thursday.
Murray’s defense lawyers say Jackson caused his own death by swallowing eight lorazepam pills and orally ingesting propofol while Murray was out of the room.

The Mastermind of Apple Dies
Steve Jobs dies at age 56 from pancreatic cancer. Former CEO of Apple publicly announced his rare form of Pancreatic cancer and, in August 2011, Jobs stepped down as CEO on. He is the mastermind behind products such as the iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac and iTunes.
“I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come,” he said during the announcement. A month later, he passed away.
The Apple website shows a photograph of Jobs with “1955 – 2011” underneath his name. It reads:
“Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”

The trial of Michael Jackson continued when jurors heard emotional voice recordings of Michael to Dr. Conrad Murray. (Day 7)
The audio was regarding Jackson’s upcoming concert. “When people leave this show, when people leave my show, I want them to say, ‘I’ve never seen nothing like this in my life. Go. Go. I’ve never seen nothing like this. Go. It’s amazing. He’s the greatest entertainer in the world.’ I’m taking that money, a million children, children’s hospital, the biggest in the world, Michael Jackson Children’s Hospital. Going to have a movie theater, game room” slurred Jackson.
Deputy District Attorney David Walgren said in his opening statement that Jackson was “highly under the influences of unknown agents” when Murray recorded Jackson.
Murray’s defense lawyers say Jackson caused his own death by swallowing eight lorazepam pills and orally ingesting propofol while Murray was out of the room.
A photograph of Jackson lying dead on a hospital gurney was later projected onto a large screen in the courtroom, a vivid reminder to jurors of why they will listen to a least a month of testimony in Dr. Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial.

Day 6 in Jackson Trial
Dr. Conrad Murray’s girlfriends were asked to take the stand today. One of his girlfriends named Michelle Bella sated that she met Murray at a Las Vegas club and stated that Murray sent her a text the day Jackson died. But, the judge did not allow the prosecution to read it.
The judge also would not let the jury hear a voice message Murray left on Bella’s cell phone nine days earlier. But Bella did answer ‘yes’ when asked if Murray had told her he hoped to “meet up with you” later at a club in Las Vegas before he left for London with Jackson.
The judge limited how deep prosecutors could dig into Murray’s social relationships with the women, but all three said they met Murray in Las Vegas night clubs.
