Armstrong lived a lot of lies and brought global attention with this documentary

The Armstrong Lie widely regarded as one of the most prominent figures in the history of sports, Armstrong had triumphed over cancer and went on to win bicycling’s greatest race, the Tour de France, a record seven consecutive times.
Charting Armstrong’s life-story (and given unprecedented access to both the Tour and the man), Gibney began filming what he initially envisioned as the ultimate comeback story – Armstrong’s return from his 2005 retirement and his attempt to win his eighth Tour. Indeed, more than just an athlete, Armstrong, through his inspiring personal narrative and charitable works, had come to embody nothing short of the possibilities of the human spirit itself. An unprecedented scandal, however, would rewrite both the Armstrong legend and Gibney’s film.
Doping accusations weave in and out of the story, with Armstrong’s personal performance-enhancing medical advisor, Michele Ferrari, introduced with a dose of tongue-in-cheek irony as the villain of the piece. It’s fascinating to learn just how sophisticated the deceptions were, with illegal blood transfusions at one point carried out in plain sight on a team bus during a Tour stage. Armstrong was subsequently stripped of his victories and banned from all competitive sporting activities for life. Now the question is this famous cyclist deserved the punishment he received at the end of the whole doping scandal? You will have the best answer after seeing this controversial documentary.
'Star Wars: Episode VII' will write its own story with Filmmaker Lawrence Kasdan
Sounds like this production is in serious trouble but Filmmaker Lawrence Kasdan is working on the script for “Star Wars: Episode VII” with director J.J. Abrams. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy said in a statement that “Arndt has done a terrific job and hopefully this would be a well developed story.

Dead in Tombstone would be a thrilling, action packed Western story

Danny Trejo (Machete), Anthony Michael Hall (The Dark Knight) and Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler) star in this action movie packed Western with an engaging story for vengeance. The story begins with the murder their own leader, Guerrero Hernandez (Trejo), in a cold-blooded power grab. Sentenced to eternity in hell, Guerrero finds himself confronted by Satan himself (Rourke), offering a daring proposition: deliver the six souls of his former gang and traitors so in that way he will escape damnation. With time running out, he sets out on a brutal rampage to avenge his own death.
The movie gives us exactly the kind of movie we expect, so this is not a bad thing at all and this DVD action film deserves to be seen in the theater. Despite of being a typical low budget DVD action film as a fan of these movie genres, only in 24 hours Guerrero Hernandez (Danny Trejo) has to kill his six enemies and save his soul from Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler). This is a well structured revenge movie that makes to think about supernatural elements in it. Definitely is original and creative with lots of fun, no matter how crazy and bad things got at times. It’s simply a watchable movie, even if it doesn’t appear to you that way. Give it a shot, it may surprise with a river of blood.
This master piece will be available in October 22nd on Blu Ray combo pack with DVD in Spanish and English languages with French, Spanish and English subtitles.

Pedro Almodóvar is back with his new film ‘I’m So Excited’ starring, in order of appearance, Antonio de la Torre, Hugo Silva, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Laya Martí, Javier Cámara, Carlos Areces, Raul Arevalo, José María Yazpik, Guillermo Toledo, José Luis Torrijo, Lola Dueñas, Cecilia Roth, Blanca Suárez.
In the new comedy by Pedro Almodóvar, a very mixed group of travelers are in a life-threatening situation on board a plane flying to Mexico City.
A technical failure has endangered the lives of the people on board Peninsula Flight 2549. The pilots are striving, along with their colleagues in the Control Center, to find a solution. The flight attendants and the chief steward are atypical, baroque characters who, in the face of danger, try to forget their own personal problems and devote themselves body and soul to the task of making the flight as enjoyable as possible for the passengers, while they wait for a solution. Life in the clouds is as complicated as it is at ground level, and for the same reasons, which could be summarized in two: sex and death.
In press conference Pedro Almodovar said: “This is absolutely a master piece because it has special characters and a wonderful actress and 1963 look was very important to this production. Espana del destape in which everything was freedom.”
“I was very happy because it was intense in many scenes were unique where happiness was extreme with all passengers. Then they decided to change some flirting with some passengers especially for the title of this movie. Light comedy is very important with quality and homosexuality was important for the comedy lack of loneliness and to take care of each other.”
This is the typical comedy that recaptures all types of audience with a high humor from 1970’s influence and based on the modern society from Spain in these days. It is a movie full of magic moments despite the common laughs at certain point; most people were dead silent watching while I was laughing with clever humor whereas this just serves up some repetitive well trod clichés. This is one of the reasons that Pedro Almodovar’s films are always controversial.

This movie is directed by Golden Globe® and Oscar® winning filmmaker Susanne Bier, written by Bier and Anders Thomas Jensen and starring Pierce Brosnan and Trine Dyrholm. Philip (Brosnan), an Englishman living in Denmark, is a lonely, middle-aged widower and estranged single father. Ida (Dyrholm) is a Danish hairdresser, recuperating from a long bout of illness, who’s just been left by her husband for a younger woman, Thilde. The fates of these two bruised souls are about to intertwine, as they embark for a trip to Italy to attend the wedding of Patrick and Astrid, Philip’s son and Ida’s daughter. With warmth, affection and confidence, Susanne Bier has shaken a cocktail of love, loss, absurdity, humor, and delicately drawn characters that will leave only the hardest heart untouched. It is a film about the simple yet profound pains and joys of moving on – and forward – with your life.
This is so relentlessly unremarkable and has its touching and emotional moments especially for the drama of young love is, at least, usefully contrasted with the easy, laidback romance between Brosnan and Dyrholm. They’re at a stage in life when they’re no longer willing to pretend, or to conform to others’ expectations and it’s uplifting to watch.
Although is highly predictable story, all characters manage to evoke dislike, sympathy, pity, hope and happiness on screen. Definitely is a sunny, sweet, with a lovely cast, idyllic locations and fruitfully comic situations. Pleasingly endearing and will be open in LA & NY May 3, 2013.
You will be my son is a movie full of wisdom and emotional steam

Paul de Marseul (Niels Aretrup) is the passionate, demanding proprietor of his prestigious family wine estate. But he has no faith in his son, Martin (Loran Deutsch), who works at the vineyard. Paul dreams of a harder-working, successful son-a dream that one day seemingly materializes when he meets Philip (Nicolas Bridet), the son of his dying estate manager (Patrick Chesnais). Can Paul turn against his own blood and turn Philip into the rightful heir of his family estate?
Shot on location in the French region of Saint Emilion at the Chateau Clos Fourtet, You Will Be My Son deeply explores the meaning of work, love, and family. Working in the wine industry certainly brought to light aspects of the industry so the plot is really well structured this encompasses themes of gender roles, manipulation, deceit and family ties. The odious central character realizes his own shortcomings as a wine maker and distrusts his son for his education and expertise but the film is of a surprisingly rich and potent vintage itself no matter what some bad feelings are involved at the end one of the characters is free of his own demons. Highly recommended with a special coffee!

Don’t get mad – get everything!” is the mantra for DIVORCE PARTY THE MUSICAL-The Hilarious Journey to Hell…and Back! from the producer of the Off-Broadway hit, MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL promises a night of laughter and solidarity for all. The story centers on Linda, who is still reeling from the collapse of her marriage. When all she wants to do is have another bowl of Chubby Hubby ice cream, Linda’s three friends (along with a massage therapist/pizza delivery boy/make-over guru and others) decide to help her move on to a new beginning by throwing her the mother of all divorce parties. Using familiar songs with clever new lyrics, and coupled with a good dose of comic mayhem (and a touch of “naughty”) the girls cut loose on the realities of divorce, long term relationships and moving on.
The production coming to Los Angeles previously performed at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach and the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A separate, Canadian company performed the show at Stage West in Mississauga, Ontario last fall.
