Guess Who's Back? Eminem! Shadys is Back
The rap singer Marshall Mathers or better known as Eminem is coming back with a new album. Eminem revealed that he is working on new solo record. The album will be his first solo record since 2010’s Recovery. Eminem has sold more that 85 million records worldwide and has totaled over 1 billion views on his music videos on his official on YouTube. Eminem won Grammy Awards for both Relapse and Recovery, giving him a total of 13 Grammys in his career. Looks like Shadys back, tell a friend.
Against Me! Tom Gabel Performs
Tom Gabel from the punk rock band Against Me! performed in San Diego with her new name Laura Jane Grace. This is her first performance, since coming out a transgender. Grace said “I was worried that some people expected me to come out looking like Little Bo Peep or something.” Grace performed songs such as “Transgender Dysphoria Blues” as well as “Osama bin Laden as the Crucified Christ,” “Dead Friend,” “True Trans Soul Rebel,” “Drinking with the Jocks” and “Black Me Out.” Grace was with his wife Heather and his daughter. Grace stated that she is open to sharing her transition with her fans.

Is Lady Gaga the Next Mark Zuckerberg?
Lady Gaga has plans to start her own social networking site. On Twitter, the pop star sensations has 24 million followers and she wants to create her own social vehicle. This site would be invite only and would include all Gaga fanatics. Gaga plans to have her “Little Monsters” share pictures, Gaga news, and it will be owned by her manager Troy Carter. Looks like the “fame” is not over yet for Gaga.
Tom Morello is a Revolutionist in Chicago Rally
Tom Morello performs at a National Nurses United rally and he pumps the crowd. He performs cover songs by Bruce Springsteen and rattles the Chicago protesters. Some protesters wore Robin Hood hats and nurse scrubs to represent the Robin Hood tax that would tax financial institutions, which they mean to impose. Tom stated that the Rally was for the 99% that was left out. As he was performing, his mic turns off and Tom assumes the Chicago police turned it off and he yells “either by design or by accident,” Morello yelled “But that will not stop the show.” Tom’s mic eventually turned on and he continued to perform. Tom played songs such as “One Man Revolution” and “Union Song”. Police stated that the rally was peaceful overall.
'Blade Runner' Sequel is a Possibility
The British film director and producer Ridley Scott has stated that the ‘Blade Runner’ sequel is in the works. Ridley Scott has directed films such as ‘Alien’, ‘American Gangster’, and has recently produced ‘Prometheus’. During an interview, Scott stated about the sequel “Funny enough, I started my first meetings on the Blade Runner sequel last week, we have a very good take on it. And we’ll definitely be featuring a female protagonist.” Scott’s latest production film ‘Prometheus’ will be coming out soon and fans are suspecting that it is a linked universe between his films ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner’.
Zooey Deschannel is Loretta Lynn
The “New Girl” actress Zooey Deschanel is to play Loretta Lynn on broadway. Loretta Lynn who is 80-years-old said “It’s a long way from Butcher Holler to Broadway in New York City, I never imagined I’d see ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’ on a movie screen, and now I can’t believe it’s going to be on a stage for people to see.” Lynn is excited to have Zooey play herself. Lynn plans to sit front row and watch how a poor Kentucky girl grow to be the first female country singer on broadway. In 1972, Lynn was the first woman named “Entertainer of the Year” by the Country Music Association and has released 70 albums.

NYC Club CBGB Will Have Music Festival
The New York City rock club CBGB is planning a city wide music festival. The CBGB festival will occur July 5th-8th. The Rolling Stones reported that it will “include 300 bands at 30 locations across New York, from Central Park’s Summerstage to the Highline Ballroom to clubs like Lit Lounge.” Stage performers include Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Cloud Nothings, Baseball Project (a supergroup started by R.E.M.’s Peter Buck and Dream Syndicate’s Steve Wynn) and New York Dolls member David Johansen will also be making an appearance. CBGB will also be showing film screenings of classic rock films and documentaries. CBGB was last closed in 2006. For all those attendees, good luck using the restroom.
