Felicity Jones will play Mara Jade in “Star Wars” new film

Star Wars for Disney-Lucas Film will have Oscar-nominated actress Felicity Jones as the main role. The new version of “Star Wars” will be directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Chris Weitz. Some members of cast were meeting, reading and testing last week in Los Angeles for the role, with Tatiana Maslany and Rooney Mara among those in the mix. The movie has a release date of Dec. 16, 2016.

Debuting this summer, on select Disney Magic and Disney Wonder sailings to Europe and Alaska, Disney Cruise Line guests are transported to the land of “Frozen” when the ship is transformed into a winter wonderland and a day of frozen fun culminates with an extravagant celebration with friends from the Kingdom of Arendelle. “Frozen” is part of the show and debuts at sea in the Walt Disney Theatre aboard the Disney Magic. In the Disney Cruise Line original production, “Disney Dreams … An Enchanted Classic,” Anna, Elsa and Olaf join the lineup of beloved Disney characters who together teach a young girl the power of her dreams.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, shared memories with Disney friends including Goofy & Donald Duck; the beloved Disney Princesses; Chip & Dale; Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket; Belle & The Beast plus many more – and magical moments from Disney’s Aladdin, Mulan, The Lion King plus Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Even for those unfamiliar with the more recent Disney stories may not understand all stories told in the show, this one is perfectly choreographed skating, breathtaking production numbers, stunning costumes and toe-tapping songs that make you to be part of their lives. The show ranged from bringing new Disney movies and characters to the ice like those from Toy Story, Lilo & Stitch all the way back to Pinocchio and even Jiminy Cricket. They were even able to bring “It’s a Small World” to the ice and truly feel that you were at Disney World. The show (with an intermission) lasts about 2 hours and definitely worth it! As promised, Disney on Ice truly was a “SPECTACULAR!”

Emma Watson probably will play Cinderella

Disney wants to make Emma Watson to play the lead role in the studio’s live-action remake of Cinderella. If Watson is successful in getting the role, she will star opposite Cate Blanchett, who has already agreed to play Cinderella’s evil stepmother.
The latest draft of the script was penned by The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz. Hopefully she can be successful in this new role.
