Love in the sand would be part of “Sand Dollars”

Directed by Laura Amelia Guzmán and Israel Cárdenas, “Sand Dollars” (Dólares de Arena) is a great art-house romance starring legendary film actress Geraldine Chaplin (Talk to Her.

In this powerful and haunting ending, an older European woman becomes captivated with a young Dominican woman struggling to make ends meet. Every afternoon Noelí (played by Yanet Mojica), goes to the beaches at Las Terrenas with her boyfriend to look for ways to make a living at the expense of one of the many tourists that wander the beach. As people parade through her life, Noelí has a steady client; Anne, a mature French woman who, as time goes by, has found an ideal refuge on the island to spend her last years. When Noeli’s boyfriend feigns to be her brother, he outlines a plan in which Noelí travels to Paris with the old lady and sends him money every month. For Noelí, the relationship with Anne is one of convenience, but the feelings become more intense as the departure date closes in. Definitely, is a film that shows lack of economic, ethnic, cultural, and gender power in any relationships. Built on the premise that one’s mate is determined by destiny and the belief that even choice cannot override intense attraction but is intense in feelings and damage in a love storm.

Although this a film full of physical jeopardy, all the characters are superb because they really reflect drama and anguish for their lives.

“Jurassic World” is considered the best summer blockbuster

Any viewer might have memorable moments in the whole movie, and one of the highlighted is when you see for first time the T-Rex escape or memorable kills. Now is possible in “Jurassic World” 3D and the Jurassic World 3D Blu-ray release. With a great cast such Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Irrfan Khan, Nick Robinson. You will enjoy this film full of  features included English Master Audio in English, Spanish and French and English Dolby Digital with some deleted scenes and subtitles with the same languages.

22 years after the original Jurassic Park failed, the new park (also known as Jurassic World) is open for business. After years of studying genetics the scientists on the park genetically engineer a new breed of dinosaur, a genetically modified giant stealth killing machine–escapes containment and goes on a killing spree.

A film full of worthy dialogues and scenes which main message is “Don’t mess with Mother Nature, or the past.” From director Colin Trevorrow. Screenplay, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Derek Connolly, Trevorrow; story, Jaffa, Silver, based on characters created by Michael Crichton. “Jurassic World” promises to make a difference even many have not considered one of the best. However, it was a solid little thrill show and entertaining, it is. A formulaic and totally predictable film with good visual effects that you can see them more than once and then move on.

From Director Damián Szifron and a great cast Ricardo Darín, Oscar Martínez, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Érica Rivas, Rita Cortese, Julieta Zylberberg, and Darío Grandinetti that makes each character a different world around you. A waitress adds a special ingredient to an arrogant loan shark’s meal in one of several tales dealing with extremes of human behavior. With great energy in some stories more than others, stress and depression for many people could result in a well and interesting dark comedy with certain tragedy. It was co-produced by Agustín Almodóvar and Pedro Almodóvar. The film’s musical score was composed by Gustavo Santaolalla so now debuts on Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD in 122 minutes in Spanish language with English subtitles. All these elements can be enjoyed in each scene with deception and revenge make it true artistic vision.

You won't want the story to end for Fifty Shades of Grey

Even some books were written very well in the film version changes. Casting of Fifty Shades of Grey did a good job. Ana is a strong woman and she did what she wanted. It is not abusing a woman. It is a DOM and a SUB and the SUB knew what she was getting into and had the right to walk away any time she wanted. The male strip scenes were all decent. Despite two complex characters stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have real sense of depth that other actors, both  have accomplished the real goal of each character. The good news are for fans of this great film, especially for Christian  Grey  and Anastasia Steele, will be able to have the ultimate at-home movie experience when Fifty Shades of Grey, the global phenomenon that grossed more than $560 million globally, comes to Digital HD and Blue-ray,DVD and on Demand Friday, May 8, 2015 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. This great film would be the best choice as a great gift because you will see an alternate ending and the exclusive tease to the next film, Fifty Shades Darker, along with almost two hours of all-new bonus features that go behind the scenes of this year’s hottest romance.

Written & Directed by Gareth Evans, The Raid 2 with a great cast Iko Uwais, Arifin Putra, Tio Pakusadewo, Oka Antara, Julie Estelle, Ryuhei Matsuda, Kenichi Endo, Kazuki Kitamura involves a fury fighting with Rama and his way out of a building filled with gangsters and madmen – a fight that left the bodies of police and gangsters alike piled in the halls – rookie Jakarta cop Rama thought it was done and he could resume a normal life. He couldn’t have been more wrong.

A great sequel of action and a new odyssey of violence, bone-crunching force him to set aside his own life and history and take on a new identity as the violent offender “Yuda.” In prison he must gain the confidence of Uco – the son of a prominent gang kingpin – to join the gang himself, laying his own life on the line in a desperate all-or-nothing gambit to bring the whole rotten enterprise to an end. For all fight fans should brace themselves for a bruising, blistering ride even the plot is not the best the main characters show their best fighting skills faster, and more lethal than ever. The most curious characters were the Hammer Girl and Baseball Bat Man deserve a spin-off especially with their fights that are full of dynamite but at the end this movie has to contrasts: a beauty in a modern martial-arts epic and brutality, capturing the art of violence with a great style in all the characters involved. Definitely is an awesome movie full of entertainment and fun which suffers from too much potential. Now is available July 8^th on Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD in 150 minutes full of action, bloody sequences with tons of deleted scenes with the original version with the best choreography scenes of some of the  violent scenes. Even is rated R  , this movie has intensive English Language Dolby Digital, Spanish Dolby surround and subtitles in English and Spanish. Definitely must be part of your collection for those who love intense shootings and fights.

You might find raunchy sex in "About Last Night"

A typical romantic comedy comes with About Last Night and its contemporary version closely follows new love for two couples as they journey from the bar to the bedroom and are eventually put to the test in the real world. From the director Steve Pink his movie does an awesome job depicting the realities of relationships. Kenvin Hart is so funny and talented. However the crux of the movie centers on the relationship between Michael Ealy and Joy Bryant and it will get you thinking and talking about your relationship if you are in one (the stages you have been in and will go through). The plot is really entertaining and the director did a nice job directing.

Now you can have this great movie in Blu-ray and DVD enjoying hookups and breakups in a funniest manner with special features such as high definition, audio in English, French, Spanish and subtitles with the same languages.

“Pompe II” is falling ash and rocks

Pompe II has passion for history and was directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, an adept handler of eye-popping 3D spectacle now is available in Blu-ray, DVD including a talented cast and characters and “The Volcanic Eruption-Special Effects.” The film travels back in time to 79 AD. It revolves around Pompeii, an outlying Roman metropolis that is found at the bottom of Mt Vesuvius — a volcanic mountain.

A young boy called Milo (Kit Harington of Game of Thrones) witnesses the slaughter of his tribe at the hands of Roman soldiers, led by Roman commander Corvus (Kiefer Sutherland).  Thus, Milo becomes the sole survivor of a Celtic horse tribe. He is then raised as a slave, and 17 years later, becomes a gladiator who is taken to Pompeii to battle Atticus (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), an African gladiator who is one fight away from earning his freedom.

A movie full of violence and tragedy bit this makes it more realistic and highly entertaining, never boring. Milo and Atticus take on a battalion of Roman soldiers and both are involved in destruction of the place. Interaction between the characters was fine given the length of time between the start of the movie and the eruption of Pompeii. The acting of the cast was well done. The 3-D effect had you brushing volcanic ash out of your hair and the film, it is definitely worth the watch.

Last Vegas will be your last gambling chance

A classical Hangover of a group of mature actors who make a movie full of surprisingly funny and enjoyable scenes and each character that demonstrates their lifetime’s experience. Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Kline and an entirely captivating Mary Steenburgen — imparting pleasure who are the best friends since childhood. All of them with different personalities so when Billy, the group’s sworn bachelor, finally proposes to his thirty-something (of course) girlfriend, the four head to Las Vegas with a plan to stop acting their age and relive their glory days. In this case their friendship will be tested with different funny, unreality and good laugh facts. Obviously Las Vegas, attempts something more raucous in a special movie which the whole story and plot make it fun and enjoyable. Now is available in Blu-ray Combo pack and DVD with audio and subtitles in English and Spanish subtitles. Two thumbs up for this movie that needs to be part of your home collection.
