Universal Studios Hollywood Prepares to Ring in the Spirited Wholidays with 19 Snow-Filled Days of ‘Grinchmas’

The illustrious Betty White—seven-time Emmy Award, Grammy Award and Screen Actors Guild Award winner; star of the blockbuster film, Dr. Seuss’ “The Lorax,” and the TV series “Hot in Cleveland,” author, producer and animal activist— will be presented with the “Who-Manitarian of the Year” Award by The Grinch and Max the dog to officiate Universal Studios Hollywood’s very, merry “Grinchmas” holiday celebration.

Hailed as “Ambassador to the Animals” by the City of Los Angeles for her lifelong work on behalf of animal welfare, Ms. White was recently named Chairman of the Greater LA Zoo Association.  She also serves as President Emeritus of the Morris Animal Foundation, a world leader in funding groundbreaking veterinary research.

Ms. White will be joined by The Grinch, his faithful dog Max, Who-villians, and over 100 Los Angeles elementary school students from the Inner City Educational Foundation charter school. All of them were at Universal Studios Hollywood in the “Grinchmas” holiday celebration.

Johnny Lewis wasn’t in drugs

The 28-year-old Johnny Lewis, Sons of Anarchy actor died of traumatic injuries sustained in what can only be ruled an accidental fall due to lack of evidence that he jumped or was pushed.  However, an autopsy report noted that Lewis had nail marks on both sides of his neck so his death was ruled accidental because there was no evidence he attempted to kill himself or had been pushed.

Police believe Lewis fell while trying to flee the home after killing Davis, 81, who operated a retreat for writers and actors out of her home.

Larry Hagman, who created one of American television’s most supreme villains in the conniving, amoral oilman J.R. Ewing of “Dallas,” died on Friday, the Dallas Morning News reported. He was 81. Hagman worked off Broadway until 1959 when he won roles on Broadway in ‘God and Kate Murphy’ and ‘The Nervous’. Meanwhile he was cutting his teeth on New York based television in programmes ranging from drama to daytime soaps, including ‘The Edge of the Night’ (1961-3).
