The real reflect of the Holocaust and suffering of a real father in “Son of Saul”

“Son of Saul,” from Hungarian-born director László Nemes’ and the story begins with Saul Auslander (Géza Röhrig) is a Hungarian member of the Sonderkommando, the group of Jewish prisoners isolated from the camp and forced to assist the Nazis in the machinery of large-scale extermination. While working in one of the crematoriums, Saul discovers the corpse of a boy he takes for his son. As the Sonderkommando plans a rebellion, Saul decides to carry out an impossible task; save the child’s body from the flames, find a rabbi to recite the mourner’s Kaddish and offer the boy a proper burial.
The film was inspired by the book, Voices from Beneath the Ashes, eyewitness accounts by Sonderkommando members who buried their testimonies prior to their rebellion in 1944. According to director László Nemes:“Their accounts are concrete, present and tangible. They precisely describe, in the here and now, the ‘normal’ functioning of a death factory… its rules, work cadences, shifts, hazards, and its maximum productivity.”
A full of drama film of a mass massacre. Saul reflects a pure father with a deep loss. Even the child of the protagonist is not his son at all– might, in Saul’s mind, redeem his forced treatment of all the others that came before him. Memes built a well structured character with an unusual neutral, accurate, powerful, without sensationalism with great sobriety and bravery of Saul Auslander (Géza Röhrig). Definitely “Son of Saul” is full of heartbreaking facts and emotionally devastating.
Love in the sand would be part of “Sand Dollars”

Directed by Laura Amelia Guzmán and Israel Cárdenas, “Sand Dollars” (Dólares de Arena) is a great art-house romance starring legendary film actress Geraldine Chaplin (Talk to Her.
In this powerful and haunting ending, an older European woman becomes captivated with a young Dominican woman struggling to make ends meet. Every afternoon Noelí (played by Yanet Mojica), goes to the beaches at Las Terrenas with her boyfriend to look for ways to make a living at the expense of one of the many tourists that wander the beach. As people parade through her life, Noelí has a steady client; Anne, a mature French woman who, as time goes by, has found an ideal refuge on the island to spend her last years. When Noeli’s boyfriend feigns to be her brother, he outlines a plan in which Noelí travels to Paris with the old lady and sends him money every month. For Noelí, the relationship with Anne is one of convenience, but the feelings become more intense as the departure date closes in. Definitely, is a film that shows lack of economic, ethnic, cultural, and gender power in any relationships. Built on the premise that one’s mate is determined by destiny and the belief that even choice cannot override intense attraction but is intense in feelings and damage in a love storm.
Although this a film full of physical jeopardy, all the characters are superb because they really reflect drama and anguish for their lives.
The worst race relations are reflected in “Mi America”

From Director/screenwriter Robert Fontaine inspired by true stories from around the country, Mi America delivers a harrowing narrative on the conflict between disenfranchised Americans and immigrant workers. The film explores the circumstances surrounding a brutal hate crime that has upset the delicate balance of the small, ethnically diverse waterfront city of Braxton in upstate New York. Five Hispanic migrant labors are beaten, shot, then ditched near an abandoned warehouse, by the waterfront. The bodies are discovered six months later.
Rolando Ramirez (played by Fontaine) is a Hispanic-American Detective, and a longtime resident of this community) who has been assigned to this case by chance. Or was it fate? His journey will force him to question his own identity and beliefs on what it means to be a North American, and in turn, attempt to bring those who committed this crime to justice… His former best friends.
Violence against Latinos and the story told in Mi America is not unfamiliar to cities and towns across the U.S. where the conflict of disenfranchised Americans and immigrant workers has resulted in tragedy. The immigration dilemma and debate continues to rage on as we enter the politically charged battlefield of the 2016 election and Latinos continue to be targeted. This timely and urgent drama offers a potent opportunity to take a closer look at a dire issue in the media.
Mi America offers an on-the-ground look at some of the reality of this conflict. Although this film is not just about a hate crime but about how residents of divided communities, certainly violence against Latinos is not unfamiliar to cities and towns across the U.S. The question is how politicians react when they are ratcheting up the anti-immigration rhetoric.
“The Wine of Summer” will make you to be thirsty

James (Ethan Peck), at the age of 27, quits his law career in pursuit of his childhood dream of becoming an actor. While studying acting under the tutelage of Shelley (Marcia Gay Harden), he becomes engrossed in Carlo Lucchesi’s play, Tinto de Verano, which is set in Spain. James’ girlfriend Brit (Kelsey Chow) leaves him, and he spontaneously flies to Spain, where he encounters the misanthropic playwright Lucchesi (Bob E. Wells) at a bookstore in Barcelona. Lucchesi is in a relationship with a much younger woman, Veronica (Elsa Pataky), but still nurtures an old love for his long lost muse, Eliza (Sonia Braga), a novelist, who happens to be visiting her son, Nico (Nicholas Dominic Talvola) a trumpet player who also lives in Barcelona. In the golden backdrop of Spain. Even frustration is one of the main subjects of the film, characters find their fates intertwined and Sonia Braga is amazing in her role. A great film for relaxing in a comfortable coach.
Shootouts and chases in Hitman: Agent 47

Hitman: Agent 47 is a great film, with enjoyable visual effects and will make you have tons of pleasure. Mostly because of Rupert Friend. All begins with an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research – and forty-six earlier Agent clones endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe. With a great and experienced cast as Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds and Thomas Kretschmann, 47 is the clone’s number that makes the plot interesting related to the agent.
Even Hitman: Contracts, is one of the top ten famous video games the plot of Hitman, seems to be what they’re adapting all the action elements that combines a cringe-inducing story and the pleasure comes from the excitement of interaction. This film will be a bomb full of adrenaline and full of original action sequences into visual jigsaws.
A hurt childhood in “The boy”

Directed by Craig William Macneill and written by Craig William Macneill and Clay McLeod Chapman, this film based on the novel Miss Corpus by Clay McLeod Chapman begins with a nine-year-old Ted Henley (Jared Breeze) and his father John (David Morse) are the proprietors of The Mtn. Vista Motel, a crumbling resort buried in the mountains of the American West. This boy is a chilling, intimate portrait of a 9-year-old sociopath’s growing fascination with death.
During 105 min you will have suspense, drama, strong performances. Morse as alcoholic makes the father’s emotional desolation and someone who doesn’t care his child. Definitely the mystery in each scene will surprise you when this boy is incapable of understanding how to form real bonds with new acquaintances and reflects certain violence close to death in which boy’s imagination is the best part of the film.
A romantic melodrama in a broken world for “Phoenix”

During 1 hr. 38 min. this great film with a radiant cast so the relationship between the two anchors and the beautiful photography for each scene, and wardrobe for each character makes this production with great quality. The existence of a once-lively woman, the repression, cruelty, betrayal and passion for love will surprise you with a magnificent end.
Memories of silence in “The look of Silence”
