Luis Miguel had his own DEJA VU in a great concert

One of the most talented superstar Luis Miguel was in concert at Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. Often referred to as El Sol de México, Miguel seamlessly performs a wide range of musical styles, including pop, ballads, boleros and mariachi. Despite the show started a little bit late. On top of that it was a Sunday and the timing of the show would have fit perfect, for his audience who let them song his best hits. His interaction was great, especially with many lights on and off on the stage. Hi wore three times in black with elegant outfit. This great Mexican Latin pop singer made of this concert, a different music style with deep touch of his hermetic personal life. First few songs were sweet and suave at the beginning of the concert, before warming up the audience. Second half was better especially with Mariachi. Greatest hits such “México En La Piel, Solamente Una Vez, Contigo Aprendí, La Media Vuelta, La Incondicional,  El Día Que Me Quieras, Inolvidable, Por Debajo De La mesa, entrega Total” and more.

Definitely his performance was amazing as always even his voice quality has deteriorated. He struggled to sing some songs but let the audience do a fair amount of the singing and there were long breaks between songs. In General was a good concert for the female  angelenas.

The Piano Guys were playing Cello and a Piano in a classical vein

The Piano Guys were in a great concert at Greek Theater which has excellent acoustic, audio and friendly management help. These four talented dads from Utah, have climbed the Great Wall of China for their craft, landed a top Billboard charts, sold out tour dates around the world, accrued a massive social media following and scored YouTube viewership at 500 million views with their brand new album, Wonders!

Their concert was full of film music videos, with successful single/video releases from the past year such as, “Let It Go,” “Kung Fu Piano: Cello Ascends,” and “Story of my Life.” It also includes new songs with strong familiarity that incorporates melodies from Dave Matthews Band’s huge hit “Ants Marching / Beethoven Ode to Joy,” they continued with more beautiful songs such, “Epic,”“Bourne,””Upside Down,””Father’s Eyes,” until the intermission.

As spectator, I realized these talented artists have a real connection through their little chats with the audience. After the intermission, they continued with “Secrets,” “Snoopy,””Story of My Life,” “1000 Years,”“Mashup,””Rockabell,””Beautiful” and in some songs were hilarious because Jon was dancing with a particular and unique style. If he weren’t a musician, he would’ve made for a fantastic comedian.

The Piano Guys – Steven Sharp Nelson, Jon Schmidt, Al Van der Beek and Paul Anderson included a well structured concert, dynamic and worthy. For me, this concert might be the best show of the year.

Keith Sweat and Musiq Souldchild were in a concert full of love

Photos and review by Jenny Alvarez

From nightclubs to Nokia Theater, Keith Sweat and Musiq Souldchild made the love with their voices. These great singers had a successful concert the past February 14th  in Los Angeles, CA and many fans enjoyed their music and style on the stage.

Musiq Souldchild well known as the best soulful singer has been very successful in his career as a musician and in this concert as well. His songs such as “Teach Me”, “B.U.D.D.Y” and “Make You Happy” were the most applauded.

Keith Sweat is one of the smoothest men on his genre. His music is so smooth and collapsed with his voice and deep feelings. As reviewer he makes magic with his music because I found it very easy to listen to and enjoy.” Make it Last Forever”,” I Want Her”,”How Deep is your Love” and more hits were the most romantic and sweet of the show for Valentine’s Day.

These R&B legends were special due their music make feel that life is about trusting on our feelings, taking chances, finding happiness, learning from the past and one of the best moments of this great concert was when Keith shared some roses with his public. Obviously many fans were excited and emotional with his songs and performance during more than 120 minutes.

Whiplash will be electrifying

Andrew Neyman (Milles Teller) is an ambitious young jazz drummer, single-minded in his pursuit to rise to the top of the east coast music conservatory. Plagued by the failed writing career of his father, Andrew hungers day and night to become one of the greats. Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons), an instructor equally known for his teaching talents as for his terrifying methods, leads the top jazz ensemble in the school. Fletcher discovers Andrew and transfers the aspiring drummer into his band, forever changing the young man’s life. Andrew’s passion to achieve perfection quickly spirals into obsession, as his ruthless teacher continues to push him to the brink of both his ability – and his sanity. During 1 hr. 46 min, this great Director and writer Damien Chazelle shows a tremendous with excellent psychological intensity in the main characters especially when some experience becomes in wisdom for certain talents. Especially when Andrew is a dedicated student with big dreams of becoming one of the greatest jazz drummers but J.K. Simmons demands the best effort even in some moments looks like disharmony in each other. In few words is a well structured movie drama with intensity, vulnerability, and depth in feelings and ambition. Good ambience and locations but the best part is the background music. Definitely is a mind game and a film that reflects our way in life.
