Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire Heart and Soul Tour 2015

Two of the most successful and critically-acclaimed bands — Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago — announced their North American co-headlining summer CHICAGO AND EARTH, WIND & FIRE – HEART AND SOUL TOUR 2015, kicking off July 15 in Concord, California. The 25-date tour, will take the GRAMMY® Award-winning and multi-platinum selling groups through major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Boston. The tour will conclude Sept. 6 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
“One of the most exciting things about the show is when both bands perform at the end of the concert,” Lee Loughnane of Chicago said. “Having these 21 very talented musicians playing our greatest hits together puts the excitement level at a fever pitch! The tour will provide unparalleled entertainment from two of America’s most legendary musical groups, who have more than 200 million albums sold and 20 GRAMMY® nominations between them. Billboard hails that Chicago is one of “the most successful American rock band[s] of all time, in terms of both albums and singles” and has “been able to fill arenas with satisfied fans” with music that has endured throughout time.

Joan Rivers passed away at 81 peacefully at 1:17pm surrounded by family and close friends. She was considered one of the greatest female stand-up comedian of all time – certainly the most successful. Many fans of her talent were speechless with this terrible news. Rivers was undergoing surgery on her vocal cords at a clinic in New York City on Aug. 28 when she stopped breathing and had to be transported to Mount Sinai Hospital. It’s a tragic end for an artist of her category RIP.

Multi platinum-selling and Grammy Award®-winning rock band, Maroon 5, revealed details for THE MAROON 5 WORLD TOUR 2015 in support of the band’s fifth studio album, V. THE MAROON 5 WORLD TOUR 2015 will start on Feb. 16, 2015 and will take the band to 27 cities throughout North America including New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago and Washington, D.C. Elena, a young Brazilian woman, moved to New York with the same dream her mother had: to become a film actress. She left behind a childhood spent in hiding during the years of the military dictatorship. She also left Petra, her beloved seven-year-old sister. Over time, Elena’s calls and letters home trailed off, until one day they stopped entirely. Years later, Petra also becomes an actress and heads to New York in search of her destiny, but also in search of her troubled sister. She remembers and imagines Elena through home movies, letters, a diary, and dreamlike sequences full of longing. As she tries to unravel the mystery of her sister, their stories overlap and begin to blur, challenging us to discover truths about forgiveness, loss, catharsis, and love. A film between documentary, diary, and fever dream which delves into the abyss of one family’s drama, revealing at once the inspiration that can be born from tragedy. It’s a sensitive film and heartbreaking story full of courageous that takes you inside Petra’s mind. In some scenes, Elena is in New York City, a city that reflects a cinematic dream combined with urban poetry especially for a well structured and personal documentary directed by Petra Costa.
