Wyclef Jean & Carlos Santana Join Bang & Olufsen's Living Room Tour

In 2013, the first instalment of Bang & Olufsen’s Living Room Tour featured an interview hosted by Zane Lowe and a live performance in London with the honourable Paul McCartney, which was launched via its website to music lovers all over the world.

Now the Living Room Tour is back on the road with a new and soulful session. Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Wyclef Jean will be hosting a musical journey with Carlos Santana and his beloved guitar, one of the most recognizable sounds in popular culture. The first installment is set for release on December 9th, with more videos to come throughout December and January; those videos can be found here.

Paul McCartney has won every GRAMMY (The GRAMMYs) for which he was nominated at the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards. ‘Live Kisses’ Won as the  Best Surround Sound Album & Best Music Film

“Cut Me Some Slack,” Paul’s collaboration with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear from the ‘Sound City: Real To Reel’ soundtrack LP took Best Rock Song during the live telecast, with all four on hand to accept the award.

Paul has confirmed he will perform at The GRAMMYs on Sunday 26th January at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Paul is nominated in four categories: • ‘Best Rock Song’ for ‘Cut Me Some Slack’ along with Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear (Nirvana) • ‘Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package’ for ‘Wings Over America’ • ‘Best Surround Sound Album’ and ‘Best Music Film’ for ‘Live Kisses’ In addition The Beatles will be receiving the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Sir Paul McCartney has announced his new solo album

The ex-beatle will release its title single. The album, due for release in October, will be Sir Paul’s first solo album for six years since his 2007 record Memory Almost Full. He described the album as “very varied” and said he was concerned about its lack of continuity from his previous records.

Paul McCartney reportedly entertained public transport passengers in New Orleans by singing Beatles songs. McCartney hopped on a streetcar during his trip with his wife. Many locals said “It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

Paul McCartney will close the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics

Sir Paul McCartney has confirmed he will close the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics in London.

A performance by the former Beatle has long been rumoured and in January he revealed he was in talks about taking part. He also admitted that “on certain occasions” he still gets nerves before performing.

A total cast of 15,000 will take part in the Olympic and Paralympic opening and closing ceremonies, which will be watched by an estimated worldwide audience of four billion people.
