Captivating, hypnotic and deeply disturbing in “Under The Skin”

From visionary director Jonathan Glazer comes a stunning career transformation, a masterpiece of existential science fiction that journeys to the heart of what it means to be human, extraterrestrial — or something in between. A voluptuous woman of unknown origin (Scarlett Johansson) combs the highways in search of isolated or forsaken men, luring this succession of lost souls into an otherworldly lair.  They are seduced, stripped of their humanity, and never heard from again. Based on the novel by Michel Faber (The Crimson Petal and the White), Under The Skin is a bizarre movie with a character who examines the human beings with her borrowed skin, until she is abducted into humanity with devastating results. Definitely is very provocative, intense, and intriguing hypnotically without any special effects. Scarlett Johansson performs a pattern full of female sexuality or empowerment  which lures to a completely dark location, tempts her victims to strip naked with the promise of sex, and then the man sinks into a dark abyss. At the end of the story as a reviewer, this is a character full of obstacles and painful journey because this woman set her eyes on our chaotic planet or culture, crowd noise and as humanity is shown as creatures in a wild habitat. Eventually her tragic end doesn’t have a clear goal or a mission in a borrowed skin with a gorgeous but false surface. Definitely is a great movie with transformation and transfiguration.

Super Model, Super Mom Heidi Klum

This German-American beauty doesn’t just strut her stuff on the runway or determine who can strut their stuff in shows like “America’s Next Top Model,” but she proves to be a super hero. In an interview with Ellen Degeneres, Heidi Klum recounted rescuing her son and her nanny from a riptide in the waters of Hawaii. She can be seen holding her son by the hand leading him to shore. She also pulled out her nanny from the water on her own.

The Super Bowl 2013 had hard hits that have made American football famous

The Super Bowl has become a cultural event, with parties thrown around the country as fans, some more ardent than others. The Baltimore Ravens shook off an unprecedented Superdome blackout and a near improbable second-half comeback by the San Francisco 49ers, to hold on and capture one of the greatest, and certainly wildest, Super Bowls, 34-31 on Sunday. The half the lights in the Superdome went out in a third quarter Super Bowl power outage, causing a 34-minute delay. Since that moment, the 49ers have regrouped and dominated.

Flacco was especially potent in the first half, completing 13 of 20 passes for 192 yards in the first 30 minutes to give the Ravens a 21-3 lead with 1:45 left in the half. The two head coaches, John Harbaugh of the Ravens and Jim Harbaugh of the 49ers, are brothers. Their parents have said they are cheering for both teams.

Definitely it was a a game full of emotions for 100 million or so Americans expected to tune in on TV.

Gisele Bundchen Makes More Money than Hubby Tom Brady

In the Hollywood working world, the women are making more money than their husbands. The Victoria’s Secret Model Gisele Bundchen is one of the highest paid women in Hollywood, she makes $45 million annually. Her husband Tom Brady is from the NFL Patriots and makes $72 million every four years. Gisele is definitely the breadwinner in this relationship. Oprah Winfrey also makes more than her beau Stedman Graham. Oprah makes $290 million, while Stedman’s earnings are not available for public access.
