Universal Studios Hollywood Prepares to Ring in the Spirited Wholidays with 19 Snow-Filled Days of ‘Grinchmas’
The illustrious Betty White—seven-time Emmy Award, Grammy Award and Screen Actors Guild Award winner; star of the blockbuster film, Dr. Seuss’ “The Lorax,” and the TV series “Hot in Cleveland,” author, producer and animal activist— will be presented with the “Who-Manitarian of the Year” Award by The Grinch and Max the dog to officiate Universal Studios Hollywood’s very, merry “Grinchmas” holiday celebration.
Hailed as “Ambassador to the Animals” by the City of Los Angeles for her lifelong work on behalf of animal welfare, Ms. White was recently named Chairman of the Greater LA Zoo Association. She also serves as President Emeritus of the Morris Animal Foundation, a world leader in funding groundbreaking veterinary research.
Ms. White will be joined by The Grinch, his faithful dog Max, Who-villians, and over 100 Los Angeles elementary school students from the Inner City Educational Foundation charter school. All of them were at Universal Studios Hollywood in the “Grinchmas” holiday celebration.
