You will be “Safe” with Jason Statham

A second-rate cage fighter on the mixed martial arts circuit, Luke Wright lives a numbing life of routine beatings and chump change… until the day he blows a rigged fight. Wanting to make an example of him, the Russian Mafia murders his family and banishes him from his life forever, leaving Luke to wander the streets of New York destitute, haunted by guilt, and tormented by the knowledge that he will always be watched, and anyone he develops a relationship with will also be killed. But when he witnesses a frightened twelve-year-old Chinese girl, Mei, being pursued by the same gangsters who killed his wife, Luke impulsively jumps to action… and straight into the heart of a deadly high-stakes war
Safe does a smart job of playing to Statham’s strengths in its action sequences. This movie is full of predictable scenes with few gunfights.
Luke (Jason Statham) is a brave man who faces all Russian gangsters who kidnapped Mei (Catherine Chan). Both Statham and Chan work really well together. Then you consider the many political implications. We eventually meet the slimy mayor (Chris Sarandon), who of course is involved because this thing goes all the way to the top, and the cops (including Robert John Burke as the Captain) who resent Luke for ratting them out for their corrupt behavior years ago. The only bad point for this movie is when Mei is involved in many blood and bullets scenes but Jason Statham makes this movie worthy of the full range of his talent and everybody ought to be good at something, and when it comes to this kind of thing, Statham is very good, indeed. This is released on April 27th in many American movie theaters.
Gabourey Sidibe was Told to Quit Show Business
The actress from “Precious”, Gabourey Sidibe was told to look for a career change by her role model Joan Cusack. In an interview by the host Andy Cohen, Sidibe stated that when she met Cusack she was disappointed, because she told her that the entertainment industry was “so image-conscious”. The young actress did well by not listening to her and has opened doors to other young actresses to follow their dreams, regardless of their background or weight.
Lindsay Lohan Resembles Elizabeth Taylor
Even though Rosie O’Donnell does not approve of Lindsay Lohan’s ability to play the great actress Elizabeth Taylor, Lohan and Taylor look alike. The 25-year-old actress will play the role of the legendary Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime movie Liz and Dick. During a recent interview, O’Donnell stated “I feel very sorry for her … I think she needs a lot of time away … She’s had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including SNL. She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she’s not in a place to work.” Regardless, we can see the resemblance.

LMFAO Deny 'Break-Up' Rumors
They’re sexy and they know it! LMFAO remain strong and deny any allegations of breaking up. Redfoo and SkyBlu debut their tour date on May 22. The ask one thing from their fans, “let loose- no mater what job you got, no matter what people are telling you”. In a conference, SkyBlu stated “It’s completely false. We’re family at the end of the day. Blood is stronger than anything,” (SkyBlu is RedFoo’s nephew). SkyBlu recently had a performance back injury and was not able to perform. Redfoo stated that he is excited to have his partner back “”Looking to my right, seeing my player-partner right there is such a great feeling. We follow each other’s lead all the time. The fans love to see us together.” LMFAO are working on new ideas for the new album and are looking into a possible LMFAO movie. I wonder if there going to have “Champagne Showers” in the movie.

Gotye Dislikes Glee Version of his Song
The Australian artist Gotye was not a fan of the Glee version of his hit song “Somebody That I Used To Know”. He reportedly told the Sunday Herald Sun that the show “made it sound dinky and wrong. They did such a faithful arrangement of the instrumentals.” The singer stated “But the vocals were that pop ‘Glee style,’ ultra-dry, sounded pretty tuned.” He continued “And the rock has no real sense, like it’s playing to you from a cardboard box.” Soon after, Gotye stated that he was misquoted. Instead, he thought the remake was “cleverly” done by two guys. Regardless of his opinion, it is no doubt Gotye’s single is on the top of the charts.
